Hi, I'm Stephanie

I'm a child psychologist and Board Certified Behavior Analyst working between the United States and Portugal. I help families raise confident, emotionally secure children — and I help professionals build ethical, evidence-based practices.

My story

Why I do This Work

I grew up fascinated by how children learn, feel, and grow. That curiosity led me to study psychology, then behavior analysis — and eventually to build a practice that bridges two countries and two languages.

I divide my time between the United States, where I hold licenses in Minnesota and New Jersey, and Portugal, where I work as a child psychologist. This dual perspective shapes everything I do — I understand the challenges families and professionals face on both sides of the Atlantic.

Along the way I discovered that science alone isn't enough. Children need to feel seen. Families need to feel supported. Professionals need to feel inspired. So I added another tool to my practice — storytelling. Writing children's books lets me reach children and families in a way that clinical work sometimes can't.

Everything I create — whether it's a CEU course, a parent workshop, or a children's book — comes from the same place: a deep belief that every child deserves to be understood, and every family deserves the right support.

My mission

Every child deserves to be understood

My mission is simple — to bridge the gap between science and everyday life. Whether I'm in a clinical session, leading a training, or writing a story, I'm always asking the same question: how can I make this more natural?
